GDR Civil Contracting were announced winners of the 2015 Central Wheatbelt Small Business Awards, in the category of: Business with 5-10 Employees.

The award was presented on Friday 5th June 2015

Director Graham O'Neil said that this was a major achievement for his business, which has been in operation since 2003.

Graham set a campaign to win as many safe contracts last year as possible to secure work for the company, as the forecast for the contruction industry "was not looking too bright".

Graham said, "GDR Civil Contracting is a customer-focused business, and we know that we only get the chance to leave a good impression once. We stand very strong on supporting our local businesses, and this creates loyalty back to us and keeps business in the region. Our projected turnover for the current year is $2.4 million."
